Development Program Management of Thermal Imaging System for Tanks

As Honeywell electro optic division (HEO) representative, the Taldor team managed a Build to Spec Project performed by several local Israeli industries, including: ARYT Optronics (today Ophir Optronics Industries), Tadiran, TAMAM (an IAI division), ELOP (later an Elbit Systems division), Ricor.
Taldor managed all aspects of engineering management and supervision, production control, QA & QC during the entire course of this project, with one of Taldor’s team acting as the official HEO project manager.
Under Taldor management, new technologies for optical components manufacturing were developed in Israel (diamond edge polishing), leading the way for a technology leap in the thermal imaging cameras manufactured of that time.
